The Bemount Rajputana Slate Linen Hunter Shirt is a linen shirt for men, in a regular fit. Pure linen in a deep slate grey, with the Rajputana sun embroidered in gold thread on the chest pocket, the one place the edition announces itself. Linen at this weight creases, and it is meant to: it breathes in Indian heat in a way a blend cannot. A point collar and two buttoned chest flap pockets keep it smart enough for the evening.

The shikar dress of Rajputana
Long before "safari" was an English word, the princely houses of Rajputana rode out on shikar in light cloth cut for desert heat. The Rajputana Edition takes the hunter shirt back to that climate: pure linen that breathes when the afternoon is at its hottest, buttoned chest flap pockets, and on the pocket the sun of the Suryavanshi Rajput houses, embroidered in gold thread. It is the one place the edition announces itself.
